Heading Home! I could keep going, but Sam says two weeks is enough! This last leg from Rexburg to Home, about 300 miles, is pretty boring. Its the same route as day #1. We took route 20 as opposed to that miserable interstate.
It was a great trip! We vsited all the places we intended to. The basis for the trip from the beginning was to visit the Roosevelt Library in Medora. I didn't dissappoint! Other highlights were the Wildlife Loop at Custer and Devil's Tower.
The VW behaved beautifully, getting 37 mpg overall. The price of gas was a real downside. Idaho was the highest, $5.07 when arrived home ( it was $4.60 when we left). Damn Trump.
